Good app - but lacking parts of speech with the definitions means that I don't necessarily know if a given word in Welsh is a noun or a verb, which can be a problem. Definitions could also be more specific - there are many results for 'peel

but it doesn't specify which kind of peel is meant. And the voice for pronouncing the words is, as has been mentioned, terrible - maybe slow it down a bit and focus more on the sound of the word. Good app ... but not for first time learners.

This app is great. Offers authoritative translations for single words, and if you enter a phrase it tries to translate the whole thing (I think it might use Google Translate or Yandex to do so).

A very useful dictionary, I use it all the time as I'm learning Welsh. The only improvement I would suggest is that sometimes I search for a word, i.e. 'sgwrs

and the search results have loads of longer versions, such as 'sgwrsiech' or 'sgwrsia' listed above it in search results. There can sometimes be a really big list of results, and I think that whatever has been searched for should be at the top of results rather than having to scroll and find the word you've searched for.

The app itself is excellent. Be aware , however that all the examples are Biblical or from Jehovah Witness publications. odd!

Difficult to navigate and if you want to hear how a word is pronounced, it's an awful male computerised voice, they may as well not have bothered!"
