And you never delete them... just in case?



Then you need SMS Janitor. Your friendly sanitation worker who will wipe your inbox clean.



SMS Janitor:
1. Looks for messages in the following formats:
- XY-ABCDEF, e.g., DM-HDFCBK, LM-ICICIB
- 5888, 53000 and other shortcodes
- Vodafone, Airtel, BSNL, and other messages from operators.
2. Extracts them from your inbox, and stores them separately in it's own janitorial inbox, which looks a lot like the stock Android messaging app.
3. You can read and restore the message threads whenever you want.

It leaves your SMS inbox delightfully fresh, smelling of friends and family, instead of stinky corporations and annoying spammers. But if you do need to refer to those messages, they're just a touch away.


PS: SMS Janitor does not take permissions to access the internet, it's just a lowly blue-collar worker. So don't worry about your privacy. (Sorry NSA.)

Users on 4.0.3 and 4.0.4: If the initial scan does not work, try clearing app data from App Info and scan again.
