The Quran (/krn/ kor-AHN; Arabic: , romanized: al-Qurn Arabic pronunciation: [alqur'an], literally meaning "the recitation"), also romanized Qur'an or Koran, is the central religious text of Islam, which Muslims believe to be a revelation from God (Allah).
