JungleWatch; Conflict & Compensation Reporting App Dow

JungleWatch is an app-based wildlife conflict and compensation reporting system developed by Abhishek Krishnan in association with Strofes Technologies Pvt. Ltd.

JungleWatch aids community-driven human-wildlife conflict solutions by digitising the communication between forest department, response teams, animal watchers, and citizens. Three types of user can register and use our system; Public, Researchers and Forest Department Staffs.

Public are allowed to report any conflict incident and apply for compensation (ex-gratia) request. The public user can track the progress of their application using the app any time.

Researchers will use this application to analyse the pattern and reason of conflict based on geo-spatial analysis and will contribute their findings to improve the use of system.

Forest Department Staff will use the system to manage and mitigate conflicts. Junglewatch acts as a decision support system to the forest department.
