Academic Flipwords focuses on sublists 1 and 2 of the Academic Word List. The AWL, developed by Dr AverilCoxhead at Victoria University of Wellington, containsthe most frequently used words in academic texts and isessential knowledge for international students planning to study at undergraduate or postgraduate level in English.
