Jagadguru Kripalu Ji Maharaj (lovingly referred as Shri Maharaj Ji) was recognised and honoured with the title of Jagadguruttam at the tender age of 34, by the scholars of Kashi Vidvat Parishat Varanasi in 1957. He was further adorned with various titles such as Bhaktiyog Ras Avatar, the Divine Descension of Devotional Bliss.
