I love this app. I've been looking for something to use as an fully customizable external controller for my PC Video editing software which has close to 200 defined combo keyboard short-cuts. This app solves that problem where I no longer have to pick and choose which short-cuts are most important due to the limited amount of buttons and layout configuration of those buttons of hardware controllers. A couple FR's now that I've had time to use it. 1. A Snap to grid and/or button edges would be great since it's difficult getting the exact spacing layout between buttons or I'm constantly overlapping buttons. 2. Tab View: The my panels has allowed me to create multiple custom button layouts by grouping similar short-cut buttons but having a user interface where I could just switch between tabs of the configured button groups would be much better and have less button presses to switch between the button panels. Everything would be accessible from a single panel.
Two suggestions; Some kind of auto-re-connect for those of us that bypass manual confirmation on PC and it would be a nice touch to implement "action-less" controls that display some basic data, i.e. a simple clock, for when in full screen. Include those and this app will be near perfect, certainly worth all five stars.
Worked perfectly for my need to control PC from another room where I have a large TV screen connected as a 2nd monitor to play videos. The media buttons and volume buttons work great for this plus the mouse touchpad. The only thing I couldn't figure out at first was how to create new control buttons with special icons like the example Music panel's volume and mute icons. But I found some in a special section of emojis with the Samsung and also SwiftKey keyboard apps.
Good solid app. No ads and it's probably the most reliable. Tested against others and it just plain works. If you value your time this is the one: 1. Very User Friendly as my parents used it 2. No crashing at all 3. Did I mention No Ads
Pretty atrocious, better options available when they work. Significantly worse than monect but monect quit working altogether for me. Disconnects every 30 seconds, PC app crashes constantly requiring you to open it and give permission again (kinda worthless for when I'm streaming my PC to another room) pretty bare bones. By default it requires password be entered on the PC FOR EVERY CONNECTION. Combine this with 15 second disconnects and it's unusable. I wish they'd fix their product."
