Smart Selangor Mobile Application
iClean Selangor was developed to facilitate residents in Selangor to submit waste collection and public cleansing complaints to KDEB Waste Management.
As of July 2020, all residents within the twelve municipalities of the whole of Selangor may use the app. The app has been updated with easy to use features and registration can be done without hassle for the Selangor public
State your complaint, location and picture to facilitate KDEBWM to take prompt actions.
The app has also been updated with the iClear function as a Smart Waste Operation Progress Tracker for use of KDEB Waste Management and its contractors. This function is designed to increase work efficiency and to monitor progress of work carried out instantaneously.

This app is very helpful because MPAJ has came and pick up the items. However, the UI quite bad and not user friendly as a user, I do not get notification for the application approval directly after submit the form. There are not features to detect either the items already pickup or not and the application have been settled.
Poor apps interface. Made report for days and nothing happened, no one called to confirm pick up. Called direct to MPKJ many times, and no one picked up the calls too.
Not gonna lie, the app is buggy and constantly crashes. However, once the complaint is successfully sent, the efficiency of service is remarkable. Within 12 hours of complain submitted, the site inspection was completed and the case was resolved in the following hour or two.
Like the cover page, status of complaint lodged is shown (report received, investigation in progress, completed, rejected). The content page is also good,whereby the reasons for reject are shown. A suggestion for improvement to make the entire exercise more useful - can the entire report ( cover page and content page) be copied? If so, will certainly help to communicate to residents. It will help kdeb to avoid receiving similar complaint multiple times.
Definitely a total waste of time for me. I lodged a complaint but got annoyed when it has been rejected stating they don't provide service at the particular district I'm staying whereas it is listed in the areas they would cover. This is misleading. When I questioned bout this there is no reply. By the way, definitely not user friendly at all. I read an article some user appreciated their service but it's totally the opposite for me."
