Download this app named Guardian Angels Security App.

Register become a part of our network. You can both call volunteers for help or receive a push-notification when a person around you is in distress. A virtual neighborhood watch. The app sounds a loud alarm and alerts registered volunteers within 1km around you with your exact location and how to get to you.

Touch the “Help Me” screen and three things happen:
1. your phone sounds a loud alarm,
2. your phone snaps the picture of the attacker and announces that "The police has now your picture!" This confuses the attacker and gives you time to escape.
3. The app sends a push-message notification to registered volunteers within 1km radius from you with your profile, location and a way to get to you.

To establish trust, each volunteer must register with his or hers true identity and is rated according to his or hers behavior while using the app.

Functionalities:
-Help Me button alarming volunteers around you that you are being attacked;
-Identities of Guardian Angels are hidden;
-Your device sounds an alarm, picture are snapped and saved directly on our server,
-The alarm can be deactivated with a pin you choose at registration;
-Guardian Angels within 1km radius receive push-notification showing your precise location and a way to get there;
-Post-event evaluations help establish transparency in our network of volunteers;
-Option to call police.

When the incident is closed, data is saved and logged into our database. Special care is applied to preserve the anonymity of the Guardian Angels.

Important: the app does not replace an emergency call! You are responsible for your actions, including your own self-defense.
