Greta plays the spoken film description (audio description) for blind and visually impaired film fans, the subtitled versions (closed captions) for deaf and hearing impaired cinema-goers and multilingual film versions (audio and subtitles) for expats, students, tourists, language learners and fans of original versions.

How it works:
Download GRETA for free and choose which version you want to use in the cinema or at home. Afterwards you will receive the latest film releases every week, which are available with audio description, closed captions, multilingual versions or as audio film. Choose your favourite film and download the preferred version. The best and fastest way to do this is at home or in any other WIFI network before going to the cinema.

Now you dont have to do anything further besides activating the app at the cinema and selecting the corresponding film. It is really easy: you simply press play on the desired film title. GRETA takes care of the rest and you can lean back and relax. GRETA automatically recognizes the film sound and always plays the corresponding version synchronously to the film. That way, you can enjoy the films with everyone else in one cinema hall. Please always switch your phone to flight mode while at the movies.

Of course, you can pause GRETA at any time. When you continue, the selected version will always resume automatically at the right film position. That sounds easy? It is!

For the multilingual versions, you have to choose your cinema and the preferred screening before buying and downloading. For security reasons, the version can only be played in the cinema and at the selected time period. You can change the chosen time and cinema at any time before the playback starts.
