Gamba Nanye app is aimed at bridging the gap between women seeking family planning and contraception solutions with service providers at accredited medical health facilities for easier service delivery in Ankole region.
This app works without internet to translate voice and text speech (voice to voice, text to voice and vice versa in real time between women and service providers with a provision of English and ankole region local language(runyankole). most women who seeks family planning solutions in ankole region are not conversant with the English language that is the official language of Uganda and practiced by most professionals.

Gamba Nanye app mainly solve the language barrier in communication between women seekers, and service providers like Doctors, Counsellors and Police during face to face live interaction. And also helps survivors of Rape and Defilement engage with the police and other duty bearers when reporting cases.
